Naomi Osaka Teases 'Super Fire' Outfit for 2025 US Open Tennis Tournament

Naomi Osaka has long been known for her fashion sense, and she has big plans for the 2025 US Open.

Osaka teased that she will have a "super fire" outfit for this year's tournament, which is set to begin on Aug. 19.

The US Open has been kind to Osaka, as she won the tournament twice in 2018 and 2020 during her incredible rise to superstardom. The seven-time singles champion and four-time Grand Slam champion has endured some struggles over the last few years, but she appears to be returning to her old form.

Osaka is currently competing in the National Bank Open in Toronto, most recently defeating Elina Svitolina in straight sets on Tuesday to reach the semifinals, where she will face 16th-seeded Clara Tauson on Thursday. She's seeking her first tournament win since her 2021 Australian Open victory.

This will be the second time that Osaka faces Tauson this year, as they previously met in the final of the ASB Classic in Auckland at the start of the season. After winning the first set 6-4, Osaka was forced to retire due to injury, allowing Tauson to win her third career singles title.

"She’s really tough. I played her in Auckland this year, and I had to stop halfway because I was injured. So, I’m really excited that I’m healthy, and I hope that it’s a good match for everyone that comes and watches," Osaka said of Tauson after defeating Svitolina.
