Cardi B Reveals Plan to Wrestle in WWE After Viral Videos Hosting SummerSlam 2025
Fresh off serving as the host for WWE SummerSlam last weekend, superstar rapper Cardi B suggested this week that she is open to the possibility of wrestling a match one day.
In an interview with Complex.com's Jaelani Turner-Williams, Cardi was asked if she would ever consider stepping inside the squared circle for a match, and she responded by saying, "I could get in the ring right now, what's up? Who wanna challenge me?"
Cardi was then asked a follow-up question about whether she believes she can match up physically with the stars of the WWE women's division, prompting her to say, "They're pretty big. All the stuff they do, I ain't there yet. I ain't there yet, but I'll come for ya'll one day."

At SummerSlam, Cardi opened the show on Night 1, welcoming the fans at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and those watching around the world.
Celebrity involvement has long been a hallmark of WWE, and Cardi was an ideal fit in the sense that she is legitimately a longtime fan of professional wrestling.
During the interview with Complex, Cardi named Eddie Guerrero, Batista, Edge, Booker T and Randy Orton as some of her all-time favorite wrestlers, which suggests she was a fan at the tail end of the Attitude Era and into the Ruthless Aggression Era.
Whether they were fans or not, many celebrities have made a successful transition to the world of pro wrestling in recent years.
YouTuber Logan Paul and musician Bad Bunny are two of the prime examples, plus country music star Jelly Roll turned in a strong performance at SummerSlam when he teamed with Orton against Paul and Drew McIntyre.
The passion for WWE is clearly present for Cardi, so if she is willing to put in the work on the training side of things like Jelly Roll did, it is not outside the realm of possibility that she could be a WWE success story one day as well.
