Bills HBO 'Hard Knocks' 2025 Best Fan Tweets, Memes from Episode 1
Reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are looking to break through to the Super Bowl and win the franchise's first-ever Lombardi Trophy after knocking on the door for the last five seasons. They nearly won their first AFC Championship in 31 seasons last year but fell just short to the Kansas City Chiefs in the title game.
There's plenty of reason to believe that the Bills can break that door down, finally take the AFC and win the Super Bowl this year, though, and it begins with No. 17.

This season of HBO's Hard Knocks series even began with Allen being shown getting ready for an interview while he was in the bleachers at St. John Fisher University in Pittsford, New York, the home of training camp.
Allen, as expected, was featured heavily in episode one. He was seen touring the new Highmark Stadium, set to open in 2026, with owner Terry Pegula.
Allen also talked about his wedding date with actress Hailee Steinfeld, calling May 31 the "best night of his life."
Praise was also given to the Bills' first MVP since Thurman Thomas in 1991, with offensive coordinator Joe Brady notably saying: "He makes all of our lives easy."
However, Allen has a big goal in mind, and that's winning the Super Bowl. He talked about the importance of the Lombardi Trophy.
Fans and analysts showed their appreciation for Allen.
One-off highlights included seeing the Bills ride around campus in scooters.
Wide receiver K.J. Hamler had a little trouble with his at first, but he made it work.
Regarding other featured players, left tackle Dion Dawkins got some air time, understandably. He's an invaluable member of this team as Allen's blind-side protector. Dawkins also took his kids out for a spin (literally). Drifting is a serious hobby of his, and fans got to see a glimpse of that Tuesday.
Fans loved seeing Dawkins interacting with his kids.
In addition, Bills fans also got to see an old friend in cornerback Tre'Davious White, who played his first seven seasons with Buffalo before playing for the Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Ravens in 2024. He was clearly happy to be back with the Bills, and there was a wholesome moment at Pittsford Dairy Farms when he and fellow cornerback Christian Benford ate ice cream and interacted with fans.
Fans loved seeing White back.
One could argue that the Bills have the best fans in football as partially evidenced by the love they show their team, but they really seem to truly love this group. That's been abundantly clear for a while, but the 2025 team could be special. It's evident fans embraced the squad at the Return of the Blue & Red practice at Highmark Stadium this year.
Next week's episode airs on HBO at 9 p.m. ET, and it can be streamed on HBO Max. Reruns will air on HBO, HBO2 and HBO Latino.
This season will have five episodes, concluding on Sept. 2. The Bills open the season on Sunday, Sept. 7 at home versus the Baltimore Ravens, who they knocked out in the AFC Divisional Round last year.
