Jalen Milroe Gets Signed Seahawks Jersey from Russell Wilson in Photo, 'Go Be Great!'
Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is expecting Jalen Milroe to accomplish big things with his former franchise.
Wilson shared a photo of Milroe holding a signed jersey from his tenure with the Seahawks in a Tuesday social media post.
"Jalen! You are going to be a star in NFL!" the message on the jersey reads. "Go be great!"

The Seahawks selected Milroe in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft. He was listed behind Sam Darnold and Drew Lock on the Seahawks' first unofficial depth chart of the 2025 season.
Wilson was drafted by the Seahawks in the third round of the 2012 draft. At the time, he was expected to compete with returning starter Tarvaris Jackson to back up recent free-agency signing Matt Flynn.
He ultimately impressed during his rookie preseason and winning the starting job ahead of Week 1 of the 2012 campaign.
Wilson went on to lead the Seahawks to a Super Bowl championship in his second of 10 seasons as the franchise's starting quarterback.
It sounds like the current New York Giants starter is hoping for Milroe to find a similarly successful up the Seahawks depth chart.
Milroe, who Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune reports has shown improvements in his passing accuracy throughout camp, will begin his bid for a larger role on the Seahawks roster on Thursday during the Seahawks' preseason opener against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Seahawks plan to split the game's snaps between Milroe and Drew Lock, according to Bell.
