Browns Reportedly Sign Tyler Huntley to Contract amid Shedeur, Gabriel Injuries
The Cleveland Browns are reportedly signing yet another quarterback.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday the Browns are signing Tyler Huntley since Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel are dealing with hamstring injuries and Shedeur Sanders is working through a sore shoulder.
"The Browns need another arm," Schefter wrote. "Enter Huntley."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
While it is still relatively early in training camp, there is some urgency with so many signal-callers dealing with health concerns.
After all, Cleveland's preseason opener is Friday against the Carolina Panthers, and it will also have joint practices with the NFC South team.
"The Browns are still working through their plans for joint practices with the Carolina Panthers and the preseason opener," ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi reported Monday in response to the Huntley news. "But this suggests one or both of Pickett and Gabriel won't be full-go later this week. Sanders was a full participant today."
Oyefusi also relayed the team's first unofficial depth chart ahead of that preseason opener, which has veteran Joe Flacco in the starting role ahead of Pickett, Gabriel and Sanders:
Where Huntley fits in remains to be seen, but he does have some experience.
He has appeared in 25 career games for the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins, five of which came last year for the latter. He went 2-3 as a starter in those five contests for the Dolphins and completed 64.7 percent of his passes for 829 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions while adding 135 yards and two scores as a runner.
Huntley was even named to the Pro Bowl during the 2022 season after a number of other players dropped out. He was a member of the Ravens that year and appeared in six games while throwing for 658 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions.
Given the reality he wasn't even on a roster prior to this move, Huntley likely won't be competing for the starting role any time soon. But he does give the Browns more depth as they prepare for a busy week with the Panthers.
