Patriots DC Terrell Williams Collapsed During Practice, Treated for Dehydration
New England Patriots defensive coordinator Terrell Williams collapsed during Monday's practice and was treated for dehydration, per Matt Geagan of CBS News.
Geagan noted the team said he is doing well after treatment.
Williams got up under his own power despite trainers bringing a stretcher toward him on the sidelines. He was then taken inside on a cart and missed the remainder of the practice session while he was undergoing the treatment.

The defensive coordinator left the team during offseason workouts in May because of an undisclosed medical issue and worked remotely as he recovered.
Inside linebackers coach Zak Kuhr took over defensive play-calling responsibilities at the time and did so again Monday after Williams exited.
This is set to be Williams' first season as the defensive coordinator for the Patriots after he was previously a defensive line coach for the Oakland Raiders from 2012-14, the Miami Dolphins from 2015-17, the Tennessee Titans from 2018-23 and the Detroit Lions last season.
He was also an assistant head coach in his final season with the Titans and Detroit's defensive run game coordinator in 2024.
Mike Vrabel was the head coach in Tennessee for Williams' entire tenure with the AFC South team and brought him to New England after landing the head coaching job this offseason.
New England is coming off back-to-back 4-13 records and opens the regular season at home on Sept. 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
