Fresh Ja'Marr Chase Rumors as Bengals WR Eyed as No. 1 in Fantasy Football Mock Drafts

Ja'Marr Chase was easily the WR1 in fantasy football last season. Don't be surprised if he surpasses that output in 2025 as his role continues to grow.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, "The Bengals line up Chase all over the field, and that's not changing—in fact, my sense coming out of my camp visit is that Cincinnati will only expand that process. He's going to line up all over the field in efforts to loosen defenses that will allocate more resources to him this season."

Adjust your fantasy draft strategy accordingly. Chase, 25, caught 127 passes for 1,708 yards and 17 touchdowns last season, leading the NFL in all three categories.

Teams are going to do everything they can to stop him, of course, but it sounds like the Bengals are already developing contingency plans for those efforts. Chase may not lead the NFL in every major receiving category this season, but if he stays healthy, he's going to eat. And if you draft him early, your fantasy team is going to eat too.
