NASCAR at Iowa 2025 Results, Winner, Standings, Highlights and Reaction

William Byron captured his first win since the Daytona 500 on Sunday at the Iowa Corn 350 at Iowa Speedway.

Byron beat out Chase Briscoe, Brad Keselowski, Ryan Blaney and Ryan Preece to take his second checkered flag of 2025.

Byron's win made him the fourth driver to win multiple races this season. All four of those drivers reside in the top five of the NASCAR Cup Series standings.

Byron used a remarkable fuel-saving strategy to take hold of the lead and eventually win the race.

Byron jumped ahead of his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Chase Elliott for the lead in the Cup Series standings. He now holds an 18-point advantage over the driver of the No. 9 car.

Byron's victory also ensured that every race winner from the 2025 regular season will compete in the 16-driver postseason.

There are three races left in the regular season and three playoff spots left to fill.

Brad Keselowski attempted to become the 14th difference race winner. He won both stages, but came up short of the win in third place.

Keselowski is buried down in 19th place in the Cup Series standings, so he needs to win at some point in the next three weeks to make the playoffs.

Ty Gibbs is in possession of the last playoff spot. He leads Austin Cindric by six points for 16th place.

The push for the NASCAR postseason continues next week at Watkins Glen. After that, Richmond and Daytona conclude the regular season.
