The 56-year-old combined with Fletcher to deliver a brutal Street Fight, the likes of which are typically reserved for a pay-per-view or premium live event. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer awarded it five stars on his famed rating scale.
Rhodes holds the ROH tag titles with Sammy Guevara and is one-third of the team alongside Marshall Von Erich and Ross Von Erich that owns the ROH six-man tag belts. His injury throws the ROH tag scene into upheaval.
Rhodes didn't give any indication that he's thinking about walking away from wrestling for good, but a major knee injury raises obvious questions about his long-term status.
Sending a legend into retirement or semi-retirement will certainly help to burnish Fletcher's heel credentials.
