Kraken's John Hayden, Mascot Buoy Chased By Bear On Video While Fishing in River
A fishing trip featuring Seattle Kraken forward John Hayden and mascot Buoy the sea troll went awry when a bear joined in on the fun.
The mascot's X account shared the encounter Friday on X, noting that "no trolls or bears were hurt in the making" of the video.

At one point, the bear appeared to charge toward Buoy before slowing down and turning away.
"That last little sprint, I was worried for you, Buoy," a cameraman told the mascot.
Buoy's official bio describes his favorite meal as "Shark mixed with Duck and sprinkled with light Maple Leaf seasoning," but doesn't mention how he feels about Bruins mascot Blades.
Hayden, 30, has spent most of his playing time in the AHL since the Kraken signed him in 2022. He played NHL games with the Kraken last season before re-signing with the franchise on two-year, one-way deal in May.
