Cowboys Reportedly Will Work Out La’el Collins Amid 2025 NFL Free Agency
The Dallas Cowboys will conduct a workout with veteran offensive tackle La'el Collins on Friday, according to ESPN's Todd Archer.
Collins opened his career as a member of the Cowboys from 2015-21, starting in 71 games over that span.
The 32-year-old hasn't appeared in a regular-season contest since Week 16 of his 2022 campaign, though.

Collins joined the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of LSU in 2015. He showed flashes of upside throughout his tenure with Dallas but also dealt with several injuries, including hip issues that caused him to miss the entire 2020 season.
He signed a three-year contract to join the Cincinnati Bengals during the 2022 offseason, but the team parted ways with him after just one year as he struggled to recover from a left knee injury.
Collins had a short stint on the Cowboys' practice squad in Jan. 2024 and later joined the Buffalo Bills before he was released by Buffalo prior to the start of the 2024 season.
He could find himself back in Dallas as a depth option while the team deals with multiple injuries to its offensive line in training camp.
Left tackle Tyler Guyton suffered a right knee injury in practice on Monday and will miss roughly four to six weeks as he recovers, per Archer. Left guard Tyler Smith also left Thursday's practice early while dealing with tendinitis in his knee.
As the Cowboys look to manage their injuries and protect Dak Prescott, they could bring back Collins if his upcoming workout goes well.
