Ramsey's return could not be better-timed. His energy and ability to work from box-to-box will complement Santi Cazorla, who has plenty of class but needs willing runners alongside him.

Mathieu Flamini provides another option if Wenger wants Ramsey to fill a wider role, but the Welshman's eye for goal makes him a constant threat from the middle of the park.
