Ravens' Isaiah Likely to Miss Several Weeks After Being Carted Off with Ankle Injury
The Baltimore Ravens suffered a potentially serious injury blow to a key player on offense.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told reporters on Tuesday that tight end Isaiah Likely is expected to miss "a few weeks" after he rolled his ankle in practice and was carted off the field. Harbaugh added, "We'll know more tomorrow" after Likely is further evaluated.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Per ESPN's Jamison Hensley, Likely was seen limping into the Ravens' facility after being carted off the field at the end of practice. Harbaugh added that he will be undergoing an MRI on Wednesday.
A 2022 fourth-round pick, Likely has been a solid source of production in his three years in the NFL. He recorded career highs of 42 catches, 477 yards and six touchdowns in 2024. He has career numbers of 108 receptions for 1,261 yards and 14 scores.
Losing Likely leaves Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson without one of his top targets, but the team's passing attack is still in good shape. Baltimore added veteran wideout DeAndre Hopkins this offseason, further boosting a talented group that includes receivers Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman and tight end Mark Andrews.
While speaking about Likely's injury, Harbaugh noted that "it's good that it's this early in camp." It sounds like there's hope that the 25-year-old will be able to return to action at some point when the 2025 season begins.
The Ravens have been knocking on the door of Super Bowl contention for the last few years, so staying healthy will be the key to finally breaking through and earning a spot in the Big Game for the first time since their last title win in 2012.
