Titans' Will Levis Posts Gruesome IG Photo of Shoulder Injury Ahead of Surgery

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis is set to undergo shoulder surgery on Tuesday, and he gave fans a glimpse into the severity of his shoulder injury on the eve of his procedure.

He posted a photo of the gruesome state of his shoulder on his Instagram story.

The Titans announced last week that Levis had decided to undergo season-ending surgery on his shoulder after consulting with doctors. Tennessee commended Levis for his work this offseason, saying he "showed clear growth as a leader."

The season-ending surgery means another setback for Levis in what has been a rough start to his NFL career. He showed some promise as a rookie, but struggled last season, throwing for 2,091 yards, 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 12 games.

With Levis out for the year, the Titans will look to No. 1 pick Cam Ward under center. On his way to being named a Heisman Finalist last year, Ward threw for 4,313 yards and 39 touchdowns with Miami.

While Levis won't be able to contribute on the field for the Titans, he'll look to do his part in helping Ward navigate his rookie season.
