Full NASCAR points standings can be found here.
Last week, Dillon defeated John Hunter Nemecheck and Gibbs took down Tyler Reddick at Dover Motor Speedway to set up Sunday's showdown.
While Gibbs ultimately came away victorious in the In-Season Challenge, it wasn't exactly a great race for either of the final two drivers left in the tournament. That was somewhat expected considering Dillon finished 19th and Gibbs placed 23rd at Indianapolis Motor Speedway last year.
Dillon was down three laps heading into the final stages of the race, and a caution restart allowed him to get back into the mix, though he couldn't capitalize on the opportunity and finished 28th.
Gibbs stayed in the middle of the pack for most of the race and stayed there through overtime. During the first overtime, Gibbs just avoided a major collision to keep his hopes of winning alive.
Dillon put together a tremendous effort considering he came in as the No. 32 seed, but Gibbs had enough to claim the first NASCAR In-Season Challenge crown.
