Tank Bigsby Reportedly 'Focal Point' over Travis Etienne amid Jags Fantasy Projections

The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to utilize a running-back-by-committee during the 2025 season. Expect Tank Bigsby to lead it, however.

According to John Shipley of SI.com, "Bigsby once again looked like the focal point at running back, though Travis Etienne got extended run in a two-minute drill. Etienne was active as a pass-catcher out of the backfield, while Bhayshul Tuten looked like the clear No. 3 running back. Again, it is early, but that is what the practice Sunday showed."

Demetrius Harvey of Jacksonville.com offered a similar perspective, calling Bigsby a player who looks as though he'll be "heavily involved" in the offense:

Bigsby emerged as the more reliable rushing threat last season, posting 766 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground, compared to 558 yards and two scores for Etienne. The latter is the better receiver, so he'll have a solid role as well, but in non-PPR formats, Bigsby is trending toward being the clear choice for fantasy players in this RBBC.
