Derrick Henry Says it Was 'Surreal' to Meet Adam Sandler at 'Happy Gilmore 2' Premiere
Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry said during an interview with Dan Patrick that it was "surreal" to meet Adam Sandler at the premiere of Happy Gilmore 2, which was released on Netflix Friday.
"Man, it was everything I imagined it to be. A surreal moment, because of you (referring to Patrick). So I appreciate you for even, you know, making it all come about man. Yeah man, Adam's just laid back, cool, down-to-Earth dude. So it was cool, man. I see why so many people gravitate to him, man, because he seemed like he's a really good dude."

Henry notably appeared on the Dan Patrick Show back in June. Patrick happened to be wearing a Happy Gilmore-inspired hoodie, and Henry mentioned that Sandler is his favorite actor. One thing led to another, and Patrick said that he'd get Henry in a Sandler movie if he rushed for 2,000 yards in the 2025 season.
Henry also asked Patrick to let Sandler know that he was a really big fan and that he would love to meet the comedian someday.
Well, that day happened, and Henry got to meet his favorite actor and check out the Happy Gilmore 2 premiere all at once.
