Eagles Survey Season-Ticket Holders About Possibility of Building New Stadium
The Eagles informed season-ticket holders via email that the team is exploring options to either renovate Lincoln Financial Field or build a new stadium.
In the message, the franchise wrote, “… To help guide this vision, we’re exploring potential updates to Lincoln Financial Field — including both renovation options and the possibility of a brand-new stadium in the region," per PHLY's Zach Berman.
The current lease at Lincoln Financial Field runs through 2032 and with hopes of hosting a future Super Bowl, significant upgrades would be required — including the addition of a dome to accommodate Philadelphia’s chilly February weather.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
“I love outdoor football,” Lurie said in February, per Berman. “I love the cold games. I like the hot games, like the snow games. On the other hand, Philadelphia deserves to host the Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four, lots of great events. It’s an incredible sports city. Does it deserve it? Yes. So we have to balance all those things.”
Lincoln Financial Field, which opened on Aug. 3, 2003, has hosted countless historic moments — both on the field and on the stage — but could soon undergo major changes.
