Raiders' Ashton Jeanty 'Definitely Excited' to Catch Passes Out of Backfield in NFL

Las Vegas Raiders rookie Ashton Jeanty is “definitely excited” to showcase his receiving skills, along with his speed—in Sin City.

“Definitely excited. I feel like that’s a part of my game that wasn’t really shown that much at Boise State so I’m hoping to bring that to life some more,” Jeanty told reporters on Thursday.

During his time at Boise State, Jeanty recorded 862 receiving yards on 80 receptions with six touchdowns over three seasons in Boise, Idaho.

The sixth overall pick in 2025 is eager to showcase his receiving skills with the Raiders, expecting to catch the passes out of the backfield more often this season.
