Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The No. 17 pick in the 2019 NFL draft, Lawrence has developed into one of the faces of the Giants' defense. He's produced 21 sacks over the last three years after totaling nine in his first three seasons in the league. He earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2022 and 2023.
The Giants previously signed Lawrence to a four-year, $90 million extension ahead of the 2023 campaign. He's proven that he was worth every cent, and the Giants made the right move to further reward one of their homegrown stars on Thursday.
New York is a team in transition, as it will be welcoming veteran Russell Wilson as its starting quarterback for the 2025 season. Rookie signal-caller Jaxson Dart is also waiting in the wings, and his development will be the talk of training camp.
For the Giants, the constant is the defense, thanks to the presence of players like Lawrence. He should be motivated to continue his run of dominance on the defensive line when the 2025 campaign begins.
