In the wake of Hogan's death, WWE legends and personalities like The Rock, Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Kurt Angle and more paid their respects to him:

Per TMZ, medics responded to a call from Hogan's Clearwater, Florida, home early Thursday morning regarding a "cardiac arrest." He was treated by Clearwater Fire & Rescue personnel before being placed onto a stretcher and into an ambulance. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

It was reported last month that Hogan was dealing with health issues, but his wife, Sky, denied that notion and declared his heart was "strong" while recovering from surgeries. TMZ was told at the time that he "was just dealing with the symptoms of a neck procedure he underwent in May."

Hogan was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the NWO in 2020. He recently launched an amateur wrestling league dubbed Real American Freestyle, and the first event is scheduled to be held on Aug. 30 on the Fox Nation streaming service.
