Jaxson Dart Aims for Better Career Than Eli Manning, 'I'm Going to Bet on Myself'
Jaxson Dart has had a similar career to Eli Manning so far, from stardom at Ole Miss to landing with the New York Giants.
But Dart doesn't want his career to mirror Manning's. He wants to be even better than him.
When asked whether he would be satisfied with all that Manning accomplished in his career, Dart said he hopes to achieve more.

"Eli is an incredible player. He's a future Hall of Famer, and it would be a privilege to have a career like that. But if somebody asked me that question, I'm going to tell them I’m going to bet on myself," he said, per The Athletic's Ian O'Connor.
"And I see a bright future here of us winning a lot of games and us playing at the highest level. I'm going to bet on myself with that answer."
Manning is a two-time Super Bowl champion and two-time Super Bowl MVP who is likely on his way to the Hall of Fame. Most players would be more than okay with that kind of success, but Dart isn't willing to limit what heights he can achieve.
His first order of business is earning the role of QB1 over veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. Head coach Brian Daboll told reporters Wednesday that Wilson is the starter, but added that "guys will be out here competing" for the job still.
