Derek Anderson In a Very Familiar Position: But Is This a Bad Thing?

HAHAHA All you big time Quinn supporters. According to everyone but Mangini, you guys got your man... Brady Quinn. I honestly and sincerely hope he does well, because I am a Browns fan first and a QB competition second.

If we look at the facts, DA comes out smelling like roses though. He will make 5 million to wear a headset. While Quinn needs to play 70% of the plays this season to make that. GO D.A. That is what Pro Bowlers get. Sit there collect a paycheck and build trade value!

I want all Believeland fans to remember 2007. Frye was our man. D.A. again second best. Right after a thorough beat down by the dreaded Squeelers, DA takes the reigns and leads the Browns to a 10-5 record (10-6) overall. But wait DA after a vastly plagued injury season (2008) to the line, dropped passes and a ineffective defense, your benched. After a Quinn broken finger ( which Favre is calling Quinn a bitch and laughing) leaves for the season and you get hurt. But this is all your fault (sarcasim).

So DA enters the season under a new regime. You get beat down by fans over being ineffective against Green Bay, which you were. Yet, everyone made excuses for Quinn, as to why Edwards dropped a TD in the end zone. Yeah, all these Quinn lovers were not making the same argument for you last year. No they called for Quinn to start and Romeo to be fired. Same scenario, just a different set of rules for the "Chosen One".

Although DA had a less passer rating and a completion percentage, most forget points win games. By that, DA won that battle. Many of you may say that he did most of his work and point production against Detroit. Your right he did. But Quinn put up a big fat ZERO. But many will argue dropped balls and penalties while Quinn was QB lead to zero points, sounds a hell of alot like what DA dealt with last year. But were any of you taking his back,? No you were calling for Quinn.

In all honesty, I just want to see wins, whoever our QB is. I just want to know one thing... If Quinn sucks, will we see the same negative articles and the chants for DA as we did last year for Quinn? Will Quinn fans be able to admit they were wrong? Or will we see articles making excuses for him, something we never saw for DA? GO BROWNS and go DA cash that 5 million!

Oh and P.S. for a stat you all should know. Quinn only put 3 points on the board on a starting Defense (Titans) and so did Anderson against the Titans starting "D". Quinn put up goose eggs on the Packers starting "D" (Don't give me the B.S. on a Edwards drop, just remember the horrible throw for a I N T  on the next play), because the "Chosen One" should adapt and overcome . And Quinn put a gooses egg up on Detroit's second string to DA's 13 points on Detroit's first string. So all in all DA put 16 points up against starters to Quinn's 3. Yep, passer rating pulled though on that one. Please don;t give me if's and buts for Quinn. Because if was a fifth we would all be drunk in this blog! Final score for points DA 16 Quinn 3. A actual stat you can't argue with against STARTER'S. But DA loses???
