What Is Ashton Jeanty's Timeline for Return After Injury in Raiders' Loss vs. Browns?
Ashton Jeanty is looking to put together a strong rookie season, but a recent ankle injury could slow him down.
He was hurt in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns, logging a total of 64 offensive snaps.
Head coach Pete Carroll was optimistic about the status of the first-round pick in Week 13, though:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Jeanty has had a decent start to his debut campaign, rushing for 604 yards and four touchdowns through 11 games. The Raiders are 2-9 with dwindling odds of reaching the playoffs.
Jeanty came into the NFL as one of the most intriguing players in the draft. Last season at Boise State, he collected 2,601 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns, leading the Broncos to a College Football Playoff appearance. He came up just short in the Heisman race after his historic campaign.
He was the No. 6 player on the final big board from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department.
In college, injuries weren't much of an issue for Jeanty as he never had to miss more than a couple of games with minor ailments. He'll look to continue his string of good injury luck in the NFL.
The Raiders are coming off years of struggle and were hoping to get things trending in the right direction under Carroll. So far, that's not happening and losing Jeanty would adversely impact an offense that's having a hard enough time when he's healthy.
Whenever Jeanty takes the field next for the Raiders, he will be doing so under a new offensive coordinator. Las Vegas fired Chip Kelly following Sunday's loss to the Browns.
