Anthony Richardson 'Still Has Time to Prove It' amid QB1 Battle, Colts Owner Says
Indianapolis Colts owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon is not giving up on 2023 No. 4 pick quarterback pick Anthony Richardson amid the QB1 competition.
"Where he is in his career and in his deal as a rookie, we still have time. He still has time to prove it," Irsay-Gordon told Colts.com’s JJ Stankevitz. "Bring a sense of urgency. And nothing brings a sense of urgency more than competition," she continued.
The 23-year-old has struggled to meet expectations since entering the NFL, completing just 50.6 percent of his passes while throwing 13 interceptions with just 11 passing touchdowns.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Richardson will face competition from six-year veteran Daniel Jones and incoming rookie Riley Leonard, a sixth-round pick out of Notre Dame, for the starting job heading into next season.
