NFL Icon Drew Brees Reportedly Joins Netflix's Broadcast Crew for Christmas Day 2025
NFL legend Drew Brees will serve as an analyst during Netflix's Christmas Day broadcast for the upcoming 2025 season, according to Andrew Marchand of The Athletic.
Per Marchand, the former New Orleans Saints quarterback will be on the domestic broadcast for either the matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders or the Detroit Lions' battle with the Minnesota Vikings.
Brees was previously an analyst for NBC, covering Notre Dame football games and select NFL contests while also serving as a member of the Football Night in America crew for the 2021 season.

While his tenure at NBC only lasted one year, the 46-year-old is reportedly set to be back in the booth for the Christmas Day games. Brees was part of Netflix's international broadcast during the holiday in 2024.
Former wide receiver Nate Burleson will return as a game analyst and former quarterback Matt Ryan is "under heavy consideration" as well, per Marchand.
Brees retired from the NFL in 2020 following an incredible career with the Saints and Los Angeles Chargers. He earned 13 Pro Bowl nods, two Offensive Player of the Year awards and a Super Bowl title on New Orleans in the 2009 season.
He ranks No. 2 on the NFL's all-time passing yards list and passing touchdowns leaderboard, only trailing Tom Brady.
Now, he'll reportedly return to the broadcast booth.
