Best Fan Tweets, Memes to Shane Gillis' Opening Speech at 2025 ESPY Awards
Comedian Shane Gillis hosted this year's ESPYS, and he certainly didn't hold back in his unfiltered monologue, making jokes about a host of topics and athletes including Shohei Ohtani, Caitlin Clark and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Gillis certainly gets raucous ovations and reactions in response to many of his performances. The crowd at the ESPYS did not fall into that category.
Reaction on social media was mixed, ranging from fans loving his monologue and thinking the crowd needed to loosen up or people saying he missed the mark.
