Former NFL All-Pro DB Nnamdi Asomugha Stars in New Trailer for 'The Knife' Movie

Former NFL cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha is starring in The Knife, a movie he also directed and co-wrote with Mark Duplass.

The trailer for his film, which releases in theaters on Aug. 15, dropped on Wednesday:

Asomugha, 44, spent 11 years in the NFL with the Oakland Raiders (2003-10), Philadelphia Eagles (2011-12) and San Francisco 49ers (2013). He was a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro selection, finishing his career with 15 interceptions and 79 passes defensed.

And now he's transitioned to Hollywood, making his directorial debut with The Knife after a number of acting gigs in his post-NFL life.
