Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3 Fight Draws Nearly 6M Global Viewers on Netflix
Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano attracted a large audience as they closed out their legendary rivalry on Friday.
In a release, Netflix revealed that the main event between Taylor and Serrano drew an estimated average minute audience of six million global viewers. In the United States alone, an estimated AMA of 4.2 million viewers watched from opening to closing bell, making it the most-watched professional women’s sports event of 2025.
In front of a sold-out crowd of 19,721 at Madison Square Garden, Taylor defeated Serrano for the third straight time by unanimous decision. Their trilogy bout headlined the first-ever all-women's boxing card.
After the fight, Taylor admitted that her future is uncertain but added that she knows she won't face Serrano in the ring again.
"I don't know [if I will keep going] but I just don't want to fight Amanda Serrano again, she punches too hard! She is amazing," Taylor said.
Serrano was gracious in defeat as she reflected on the history that was made Friday night.
"Thank you Katie Taylor for an incredible three fights and thirty rounds. It has truly been an honour to face you, a true champion and warrior," Serrani said. "To all of the ladies who fought tonight, you guys did incredible. We made history. I am proud of each and every one of you."
