Djokovic didn't fall in the rankings despite his relatively early exit at Wimbledon, as he was defeated by Sinner in straight sets during the semifinals. It ended his streak of six consecutive appearances in the men's singles final at the All England Club.

The 38-year-old owns a record of 26-9 in singles action this year, winning his 100th career singles title by emerging victorious in the Geneva Open in May.

As for Alcaraz, he wasn't able to defeat Sinner in the final after his thrilling five-set victory over his budding rival to win the French Open. Still, he pushed Sinner to four sets on Sunday before he was ultimately unable to clinch a third consecutive Wimbledon title.

Despite the defeat, Alcaraz was focused on staying positive.

"I just want to keep the good moments and try to forget the bad moments," Alcaraz said Sunday, per Howard Fendrich of the Associated Press. "I just want to think, 'OK, I just played a final in a Grand Slam, and try to forget that I lost it.'"

Gauff didn't drop in the women's rankings following her surprisingly early Wimbledon exit, falling to Dayana Yastremska 7-6, 6-1 in the first round.

It's understandable that she wasn't penalized too harshly for the defeat, as she wrapped up a three-set comeback over Sabalenka to win the French Open and claim her second career Grand Slam in June.

Gauff also owns a record of 31-10 in singles competition this year.

The next Grand Slam on the 2025 schedule is the U.S. Open, with the singles first round beginning on Aug. 24.
