โItโs funny because last night I prayed for a hole-in-one,โ Rollins said, per the Daily Mail, (h/t New York Post's Andrew Crane). โAnd it happened to come true. Prayers were answered today.โ
The shot spun backward into the 139-yard hole and as Rollins realized it had dropped into the cup, he leapt in excitement and dropped his clubs in celebration.
โAfter yesterdayโs round, it was, like: โI just want to go out there and not embarrass myself, to be honest,'โ Rollins said, per the Daily Mail. โโฆ But as we pulled up to the hole, the volunteer there said: โThey got this right up there for you guys. They really want to give away this boat.โ I was like, โOh, they do?โ She was like, โYeah. Itโs right up front. All you have to do is land it to the right and let it feed to the left.'โ
After Sunday's round, Rollins finished 49th at 45-over par for the tournament.
