Yankees' Aaron Judge Makes MLB History as Fastest Player to Reach 350 Career HRs

Aaron Judge made history on Saturday afternoon.

Judge recorded his 350th career home run in the bottom of the ninth inning during the New York Yankees' 5-2 loss to the Chicago Cubs. In doing so, Judge became the fastest player in league history to reach 350 homers, passing Mark McGwire in the process:

Judge finished 3-for-4 in the defeat while the rest of New York's lineup combined to finish with three hits.

The seven-time All-Star discussed the accomplishment after the game.

"I got nothing, to be honest," Judge told reporters. "It would've been great if we had gotten a win today, you do something like that. But I've been surrounded by a lot of great teammates, been on some good teams. They've really put me in the best position to go out there and perform at my best, so it's really just a shoutout to all the teammates I've had over the years."

The 33-year-old was also the fastest player in MLB history to reach 250 and 300 career homers.

After earning American League MVP honors in two of the past three years, Judge has remained dominant at the plate during his 2025 campaign.

He leads the majors with a 1.204 OPS in 95 appearances this year, slashing .358/.465/.739. Judge's 35 home runs and 81 RBIs are both the second-most among all MLB players in 2025, only trailing Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh.

He already ranks No. 7 on the Yankees' all-time home run leaderboard and is one homer away from tying Alex Rodriguez for the No. 6 spot.

While Judge wasn't satisfied with New York's defeat on Saturday, the team still sits just 2.5 games back from the Toronto Blue Jays for the AL East lead with a 53-42 record.
