Shakur Stevenson (23-0, 11 KOs) will once again put his WBC lightweight crown on the line Saturday night. William Zepeda (33-0, 27 KOs) will finally get his chance to take down the undefeated champion.

The two lightweights have been on a collision course for a while. After taking turns talking trash to one another, the two lightweights will meet in the ring to settle things once and for all.

For Stevenson, it's a chance to prove some doubters wrong and continue to build toward even bigger matchups. For Zepeda, it's a chance to break into a whole new echelon of lightweights and become a world champion.

It's an intriguing clash of styles that just might be enough to make Stevenson prove he can be an exciting champion.

Here's a look at everything you need to catch the fight.

Shakur Stevenson

Stevenson is a heavy favorite, but this is the kind of fight that has the potential to go sideways if he isn't at his best.

Zepeda has racked up his undefeated record by combining decent power punching with a penchant for throwing plenty of punches. He's high-volume fighter who looks to wear down his opponents.

The southpaw demonstrated that style against Trevin Farmer in his last two fights, working the body early in the fight to wear down Farmer.

Stevenson is a better version of Farmer when it comes to style. He's a slick southpaw who is known for his defense and jab. Zepeda has acknowledged that he'll need to craft a good gameplan to neutralize Stevenson's advantages.

"Shakur's gonna bring his style that is very elusive," Zepeda said, per Keith Idec of Ring Magazine. "And we've had a fight plan that prepares me to be able to neutralize that. I think we've done a great job and it's gonna be a great fight."

The bad news for Zepeda is that Farmer had a little more success against him than you'd like to see with a Stevenson opponent. Farmer was able to score a knockdown in the rematch and found success as a counter puncher.

That doesn't bode well because Stevenson can do all the things the Famer can do but better.

The biggest point of intrigue is whether Stevenson can shake his reputation for putting on less-than-entertaining fights. He's played it safe in the past and it has kept him from having the following he could have.

Zepeda is going to try to bring the fight to Stevenson. He's going to throw a ton of punches and get aggressive. If Farmer was able to drop him with a counter then Stevenson will have his own opportunities.

The question is whether Stevenson will take advantage. There's some risk in the approach. Staying in the pocket with Zepeda could open himself up to lose some rounds or even get caught in an exchange.

The most likely scenario is that Stevenson opens up enough to carry the majority of the rounds, but doesn't necessarily find his knockout shot. If Zepeda can put Stevenson on the back foot early then we could be in for an interesting fight.

Otherwise, we could be in for another comfortable decision win for Stevenson.
