The pair have been friends for years, with both showing support for each other in person and on social media.

The two bonded over growing up around the same area.

“It's been really good to meet Frances. I think we met probably a year, maybe a year and a half ago in Paris,” Pusha T said in March 2024, via Andrew Eichenholz of ATPTour.com. “From then it was a quick dinner. We have a mutual friend, [we had a] quick dinner. That has turned into us just communicating and following each other all around the country to these matches, campaigns with 2K, and just really [organically getting along], just out of a genuine love for tennis and being from the DMV area.”

Tiafoe was recently in action at Wimbledon, although the 27-year-old suffered a surprising four-set loss against Cameron Norrie in the second round on July 2.

As he prepares for his next Grand Slam appearance at the U.S. Open, he received a shoutout from Pusha T on Friday.
