Bengals' Joe Burrow Canceled $3M Batmobile Purchase After House Was Burglarized
Joe Burrow had planned to buy a fully operable Batmobile replica valued at around $3 million, but he revealed on Netflix's Quarterback documentary that he ultimately canceled the purchase after his home was burglarized in December.
"I didn't end up getting the Batmobile because I just had other things I wanted to deal with at that point," he said (h/t ESPN's Ben Baby).
During the in-season Hard Knocks in the 2024 campaign, which followed all four AFC North teams, Burrow revealed he was buying a Batmobile.

But the burglary of his homeโwhich resulted in a federal grand jury indictment after it was determined that it was orchestrated by a large criminal enterpriseโchanged his tune.
"I just get very uncomfortable," he said on Quarterback. "My life is very public. That comes with the job, but there's certain parts of your life that are yours. Your house is one of those."
This season of Quarterback is offering an in-depth look at Burrow, Kirk Cousins and Jared Goff. Last season's edition followed Patrick Mahomes, Cousins and Marcus Mariota.
