Fever HC Gives Caitlin Clark Injury Update After Superstar Returns to 5-on-5 Practice
Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White offered a promising update on Caitlin Clark after the star guard participated in live 5-on-5 practice on Monday.
When asked if she believed Clark could return to action for Wednesday’s matchup against the Golden State Valkyries, White expressed optimism, noting that the signs were encouraging as Clark progresses through her return-to-play plan.
"I hope so," White told reporters. "The same return-to-play structure we’ve been following. She was able to do a little bit more today, and now we’ll see tomorrow—has there been progress or any regression? How does she feel, how does she look, what does recovery look like? This was really the first time we’ve gotten her out into live action, so we’ll see what it brings tomorrow."

In her sophomore season, Clark has averaged 18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 0.6 steals over nine games.
