Carlos Alcaraz

Carlos Alcaraz made easy work of home crowd favorite Cameron Norrie, defeating the Brit 6-2, 6-3, 6-3, to pick up his 23rd consecutive win and move one step closer to an elusive three-peat at the All England Club.

After saving four break points in his first service game, the 22-year-old played near-flawless tennis, outdueling Norrie's relentless consistency with aggression.

Alcaraz put on a clinic in a 29-minute opening set, where he won 85 percent of points on his first serve and hit 16 winners.

The Spaniard's momentum carried over into the second set, where he broke the Brit early before continuing to hold serve at ease.

In just 69 minutes, Alcaraz built up a two-set lead with dominant serving and a seamless mix of offense and defense.

In the third set, Alcaraz established a 4-2 lead after breaking Norrie first.

The five-time major champion continued to cruise along with his significantly improved first serve all the way to the finish line in just over an hour and a half.

Alcaraz played, without a doubt, his most complete match after dropping a set in back-to-back matches.

The second seed won a remarkable 89 percent of points on his first serve. while committing just 26 unforced errors.

The two-time defending champion will face Taylor Fritz in the semifinal.

Alcaraz won their previous two matchups in convincing fashion, but Fritz has never played better on grass, setting up what should be an exciting showdown.

Taylor Fritz

Taylor Fritz defeated Karen Khachanov, 6-3, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6(4), to reach the Wimbledon semifinal for the first time in his career.

The top-ranked American broke Khachanov’s first service game, which proved to be all he would need with his serve firing on all cylinders.

Fritz needed just 33 minutes to claim the first set, winning 89 percent of points on his first serve while committing just four unforced errors.

In the second set, both players exchanged holds until an error-filled game from Khachanov gave the 5-seed an opening.

Fritz then served to take a commanding two-set lead.

Within 76 minutes, the 5-seed had built out a two-set lead, winning 28 of 31 points on first serve, along with 25 winners to just 11 unforced errors.

However, Khachanov came roaring back, capitalizing on Fritz's dip in play to establish a 4-0 lead and quickly win the third set.

In the fourth set, Khachanov broke first, but the 27-year-old quickly reciprocated to make it 2-2.

The pair continued to trade holds until a fourth-set tiebreaker, where Fritz managed to escape unscathed after capturing a crucial mini-break.

The former US Open finalist has now won 13 of 14 grass-court matches this season, including nine straight.

But, to reach the final, he'll have to defeat two-time defending champion Carlos Alcaraz.

Fritz can keep the match close with his serve, but he needs to be aggressive from the baseline to have a chance at a huge upset.

Aryna Sabalenka

On Tuesday, Aryna Sabalenka and Laura Siegemund played, without a doubt, the most thrilling match of the entire tournament.

Sabalenka defeated the unseeded German, 4-6, 6-2, 6-4, needing just under three hours to escape unscathed.

Siegemund came out with brimming confidence and fearlessness, breaking Sabalenka in consecutive games to take a 3-0 lead.

The three-time major champion earned a break back, but Siegemund continued to compete on equal ground with her baseline aggression and flawless drop shots, making the most of her second opportunity to serve for the set.

In the second set, Sabalenka earned the first break, but Siegemund countered right back.

The two exchanged holds until the world No. 1 unleashed her relentless return game, using aggression to break the world No. 104 in consecutive games and force a third set.

In the third set, Siegemund broke to love, putting Sabalenka on the ropes.

After managing to break back, Sabalenka was once again broken.

But Sabalenka found her trademark return game to break twice more, narrowly escaping a near three-hour thriller to reach the Wimbledon semifinal for the third time in her career.

Sabalenka was far from her best in victory, committing 36 unforced errors while winning just 63 percent of points on her first serve.

She'll need a complete performance to defeat semifinal opponent Amanda Anisimova, who she holds a 2-2 record against in Grand Slam matches.

Amanda Anisimova

Amanda Anisimova defeated Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-1, 7-6(9) to reach her second career major semifinal.

The 23-year-old dictated the pace early, breaking the Russian's first two service games to take a 3-0 lead.

In just 27 minutes, Anisimova had already won the first set, committing five fewer errors than Pavlyuchenkova, who was unable to keep up with the American's power.

But the 34-year-old would not go down easy.

In the second set, Anisimova had an opportunity to serve for the match at 5-3, but Pavlyuchenkova came out with unwavering, fearless baseline aggression to finally break the No. 13 seed and keep her hopes alive.

In her subsequent game, Pavlyuchenkova maintained her serve despite facing two match points, ultimately forcing the set into a tiebreaker game later.

Opportunities were aplenty for Pavlyuchenkova, who had five set points in the tiebreaker.

However, Anisimova regained her composure, utilizing her aggression, heavy serve, and a pair of unbelievable shots at 8-8 and then again at 9-9 to eventually prevail in a near-15-minute tiebreaker.

The maiden Wimbledon semifinalist has dropped two sets all tournament, proving to be a nightmare for her opponents with her non-stop aggression and serve.

In the semifinal, she'll face a familiar opponent in Aryna Sabalenka, who she's actually defeated in five of the eight head-to-head matchups.

Sabalenka will enter as the favorite, but given Anisimova's current form and her strong return game, this has the makings of a potential upset.
