Falcons' Bijan Robinson 'A Nightmare to Prepare For,' Says NFL Coach Before Season
As he enters his third year in the NFL, Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson has earned the respect of the rest of the league.
Robinson came in at No. 4 in ESPN's Jeremy Fowler's list of top 10 running backs entering the 2025 season, as voted by over 70 NFL executives, coaches and scouts. The 23-year-old has reached a point where he's the focus of defensive game plans.
"Size, speed, acceleration, pass game, value, breaks tackles, can hit home runs," an NFL coordinator told Fowler. "He's a nightmare to prepare for."

After a rookie season full of highs and lows, Robinson found his groove during the 2024 campaign. He rushed for 1,456 yards and 14 touchdowns on 304 carries on his way to earning his first Pro Bowl selection.
It can be expected that Robinson will be in for an even bigger workload in 2025 as the Falcons hand the reins to second-year quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who showed promise toward the end of last season after replacing Kirk Cousins as the starter. Robinson's consistency in the backfield will surely make life easier for Penix as Atlanta chases its first playoff appearance since 2017.
