Mike Tyson, Jake Paul Make $1M Bet on Video Over Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano Fight

Former opponents Mike Tyson and Jake Paul placed a hefty bet on the winner of the upcoming fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.

On Monday, Paul and Tyson made a $1 million bet on the bout in a video posted on X.

Tyson is backing Taylor while Paul believes that Serrano, who's signed to his Most Valuable Promotions banner, will win (via TMZ Sports).

This will be the third meeting between Taylor and Serrano, with Taylor emerging victorious in the first two fights.

She defeated Serrano and retained her undisputed lightweight title in their first clash at Madison Square Garden in April 2022.

Their second meeting occurred in Nov. 2024, serving as a co-main event alongside the matchup between Paul and Tyson. Taylor secured a unanimous decision win despite a strong effort from Serrano.

Netflix announced that Taylor and Serrano's bout averaged 74 million live viewers globally and became the most-watched professional women's sporting event in United States history.

Paul also defeated the former heavyweight champion on the same night, as the 31-year age gap between the two opponents proved to be too much for Tyson to overcome.

Paul has improved his record to 12-1 since, defeating Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. via unanimous decision on June 28.

Meanwhile the upcoming battle between Taylor and Serrano will be back at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.
