
FIBA Women's AmeriCup 2025 Bracket, Schedule for Quarter-Finals After Group Results
The final day of the FIBA women's AmeriCup group stage was held on Wednesday, with a number of countries booking their place in the quarterfinals. Below, we'll break down the day's results and Friday's quarterfinal schedule.

Brazil def. El Salvador, 106-49
Brazil finished the group stage atop Group A with a perfect 4-0 record, beating El Salvador 106-49 on Wednesday. The Indiana Fever's Damiris Dantas led the way with 21 points and three assists, while the Chicago Sky's Kamilla Cardoso added 14 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Brandi Harvey-Carr paced El Salvador with 15 points and five boards. The loss meant that El Salvador didn't qualify for the knockout stage after failing to win a game in the group stage.
United States def. Mexico, 104-48
Like Brazil, the United States went through the group stage unscathed, beating Mexico 104-48 on Wednesday to finish atop Group B with a perfect 4-0 record.
Gianna Kneepkens was the best player on the floor, scoring 20 points to go along with five rebounds and two steals. Mexico's Anissa Jeffreis was the lone player on her team to reach double-digit points (14 points, nine rebounds, five steals).
Mexico finished group play with a 1-3 record.
Canada def. Dominican Republic, 82-46
Canada is off to the quarterfinals.
The Canadiens finished 3-1 in Group A, rounding out the stage with an 82-46 victory over the Dominican Republic.
Delaney Gibb was the star of the show, putting up 21 points and six rebounds for Canada, while Cesarina Capellan led the Dominican Republic with 17 points and six rebounds. The Dominican Republic was fourth in Group A with a 1-3 record.
Puerto Rico def. Chile, 75-38
Puerto Rico guaranteed a second-place finish in Group B, defeating Chile 75-38 on Wednesday and finishing 3-1 in the group stage. The loss meant Chile was one of two countries eliminated from quarterfinal contention, joining El Salvador, after they failed to record a win in group play.
India Pagán paced the winners with 18 points and six boards, while Chile's Barbara Cousiño was the only player on her team to reach double-digit points in the blowout loss (14 points, six rebounds, three assists).
