Aaron Rodgers Posts Workout Photo with DK Metcalf, Steelers Teammates After Contract

Aaron Rodgers shared a post-workout photo on Wednesday alongside DK Metcalf and his new Pittsburgh Steelers teammates.

Rodgers captioned the photo “Summerball,” proving at 41 years old that he can still keep pace with the younger guys.

The private offseason workout took place in Malibu, where several Steelers teammates joined Rodgers for summer training sessions ahead of training camp.

“I know coming out to Malibu might not be that high on everybody’s list,” Rodgers said last week on the Pat McAfee Show (h/t Penn Live's. Nick Farabaugh) “But we do have some guys coming out next week. So it’ll be fun to spend a little time with them.”

In addition to Wednesday’s workout photo, backup wide receiver Ben Skowronek shared a video on social media throwing down a dunk off a lob from Rodgers.

After months of waiting to see whether Rodgers would retire or return for another season, the 41-year-old quarterback ultimately inked a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers worth $13.6 million, including $10 million guaranteed and incentives that could push the total to $19.5 million, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.
