Travis Kelce Talks Taylor Swift's Surprise Performance at 'Tight End University'

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce helped provide a special treat for his fellow tight ends at "Tight End University" when his pop-star girlfriend Taylor Swift put on a surprise performance.

During this week's episode of the New Heights podcast (50:54 mark), Kelce and his brother Jason discussed how Swift's cameo came to fruition.

"Tay showed up. Yeah, you already know. ... We're in Nashville, she grew up in Nashville, she moved there when she was younger, and yeah, we had this planned for a while that we were gonna have some fun with the tight ends, especially Tight Ends and Friends, all the evening events," Kelce said.

One of the most famous celebrity couple in the world, Kelce and Swift began dating in 2023. The three-time Super Bowl champion explained that the 14-time Grammy winner didn't need much preparation for her impromptu performance.

"I'll say this, I won't say when the idea came up. But when we were there at Tight Ends and Friends, and we knew that there was a professional like Kane Brown, who could just, he can figure it out... he's a true professional," Kelce said. "Tay just kind of went up to him and the band and just was like, 'Hey, if you guys are down, I'll go up there and play a song and see if we can pop the roof off this place.'"

Ever the proud boyfriend, Kelce went on to praise Swift for how she handled everything and for putting on a great show for his fellow tight ends.

"She's so good with just, everybody, just people and making people feel comfortable in it, and absolutely rocked the stage yet again," he said. "It was awesome, man."
