Cardinals' Josh Sweat, Bucs' Lavonte David Named Nos. 95, 96 on 2025 NFL Top 100
Arizona Cardinals defensive end Josh Sweat and Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David are the latest additions to this year's list of the NFL's Top 100 players.
Sweat, who spent the first seven years of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles, came in at No. 95 after helping the franchise win Super Bowl LIX last season. David was ranked at No. 96 on the list after another strong year of production in 2024 as he helped lead the Bucs to their fourth straight NFC South title.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The NFL began the rollout for the annual Top 100 list earlier this week. Here's how it looks so far:
NFL Top 100
100. Ladd McConkey, WR, Los Angeles Chargers
99. Leonard Williams, DL, Seattle Seahawks
98. Aaron Jones, RB, Minnesota Vikings
97. Drake London, WR, Atlanta Falcons
96. Lavonte David, LB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
95. Josh Sweat, DE, Philadelphia Eagles
Sweat was a key defensive piece for the Eagles during their run to their second Super Bowl title in franchise history. He played 16 games and racked up 41 total tackles and a team-high 8.0 sacks. In Philadelphia's dominant 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, he notched six tackles and 2.5 sacks to earn his first championship ring.
After becoming a free agent at the end of the 2024 season, Sweat chose to head out West and sign with the Cardinals on a four-year, $76.4 million deal with $38 million guaranteed. He's expected to play a major role on a rising young team that went 8-9 last season in its second year under head coach Jonathan Gannon.
This marks Sweat's first appearance on the NFL Top 100 list. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2021 as an alternative. The following year, he recorded career highs of 48 tackles and 11.0 sacks.
Meanwhile, David is a 13-year veteran who has spent his entire career in Tampa Bay. He played all 17 games last season and led the team with 122 total tackles, which was his third straight year exceeding 100 tackles and his 11th time eclipsing the century mark in his career. He also added 5.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, an interception and six pass breakups.
David has earned All-Pro honors three times in his career, with a first-team selection in 2013. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2015 after recording a career-high 147 total tackles. He also helped lead the Bucs to victory in Super Bowl LV against the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2020 season.
The 35-year-old's consistency has helped him earn the respect of his peers, as he's been named to the NFL Top 100 list five times. His highest ranking was No. 36 in 2014.
After his impressive 2024 season, David chose to remain in Tampa Bay for his 14th year in the NFL, signing a one-year deal with the only franchise he's ever known earlier this offseason. He's shown no signs of slowing down, so he will surely play a key role in trying to lead the Bucs to a sixth straight playoff berth.
