She's a well-deserved starter who has been on fire of late, posting 21.6 points per game in her last seven games. That includes a career-high 35 points against the Phoenix Mercury on June 11.
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier were named as captains for the All-Star Game as the leading vote-getters, and they will pick their teams, including eight starters and 12 reserves.
Bueckers, obviously, is one of those esteemed starters. Per WNBA.com, fans accounted for 50 percent of the vote point total, and then, present WNBA players and a media panel each had 25 percent.
This year's WNBA All-Star Game will take place on July 19 in Indianapolis.
