WWE Evolution 2025 Match Card Predictions After Night of Champions

Erik BeastonJun 30, 2025

For the first time since 2019, WWE will stage the all-women premium live event Evolution on July 13.

While no matches have been officially announced for the show at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, there are several that can be predicted based on ongoing stories, rivalries and on-screen hints.

What are those potential matches? Let's take a look with these predictions and guesstimates.

Jade Cargill vs. Naomi (Special Guest Referee: Tiffany Stratton)

1 of 8
SmackDown

Jade Cargill may have defeated Naomi at WrestleMania 41, but that does not mean the issues between them are settled. There is still a significant amount of jealousy on the part of the latter and a disdain between both that another match is required.

With WWE women's champion Tiffany Stratton already slated to defend against Cargill at SummerSlam, and the specter of Naomi's Money in the Bank hanging overhead, what better way to incorporate her into the scenario than as the special guest referee for the latest battle between former friends and tag team partners?

A ref bump here or there even opens up the possibility for Naomi to cash in mid-match and ruin both women's plans for The Biggest Party of the Summer on August 2-3.

Women's Intercontinental Championship: Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch

2 of 8
Monday Night RAW

Tensions between Bayley and Lyra Valkyria continue to escalate with every passing week, thanks in large part to their shared hatred for Becky Lynch and pursuit of the Women's Intercontinental Championship.

Last Monday on Raw, they nearly came to blows when Valkyria's frustration boiled over, costing The Role Model her match against The Man.

Fans who have paid close enough attention to WWE programming over the years know this is headed for a Triple Threat match, and Evolution is the perfect place to book that contest.

NXT Women's Championship: Jordynne Grace vs. Jacy Jayne

3 of 8
NXT

The only match confirmed for Evolution is the NXT Women's Championship match that will see Jordynne Grace challenge Jacy Jayne for the title.

Grace earned her opportunity last Tuesday by defeating Jaida Parker, Izzi Dame and Lash Legend to cash her ticket to Atlanta and a date with the champion.

The Juggernaut has been close on more than one occasion but has been unable to unseat whoever the champion was at the time. In a one-on-one setting and on a card as significant to women's wrestling as Evolution, there are few better places for her to finally win the gold.

If she can keep Fatal Influence's Jazmyn Nyx and Fallon Henley from interfering, that is.

Alexa Bliss vs. Charlotte Flair

4 of 8
SmackDown

Alexa Bliss has gotten the best of Charlotte Flair on more than one occasion since returning to WWE. And in recent weeks, they have even teased a partnership of convenience against similar foes.

With both determined to win, and Bliss carrying the upper hand against The Queen, a contest between them would provide Evolution with a star-studded singles match that would give Flair the opportunity to get back at Bliss and potentially lay her claim to a WWE Women's Championship shot.

The alternative would be a three-on-two handicap match against Chelsea Green and The Secret Hervice.

Women's United States Championship: Zelina Vega vs. Giulia

5 of 8
SmackDown

Giulia struck her first main roster gold Friday on SmackDown by defeating Zelina Vega for the Women's United States Championship.

While their rivalry is not a sweeping epic by any stretch, booking the rematch for Evolution ensures two deserving competitors make the card and the title is highlighted on a night when many championships will be.

Women's Tag Title Match: Bella Twins vs. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez

6 of 8
Monday Night RAW

The original plans for Evolution appeared to suggest either a showdown between Nikki Bella and Liv Morgan or a Women's Tag Team Championship match between The Bella Twins and Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez of The Judgment Day.

However, the recent shoulder injury suffered by Morgan will keep her out of Evolution, but that does not mean Option 2 is not still viable.

With Roxanne Perez worming her way into Judgment Day's good graces, what better way to tell the story of her taking everything from Morgan than by partnering with Rodriguez to defend the tag titles against Bella and her sister, Brie?

If WWE opts not to bring Brie in, a pairing of Nikki and another Hall of Famer such as Trish Stratus, would be a star-studded duo to program opposite the heel champions.

Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile

7 of 8
Monday Night RAW

Stephanie Vauqer and Ivy Nile have been foes since the former's call-up to the main roster.

While La Primera has gotten the better of the American Made product, there is still plenty of time to build some momentum for Nile and make the match worthwhile, beginning as soon as Monday's Raw.

Vaquer will win, obviously, but it gives both women something to do and allows the former NXT Women's and North American champion the opportunity to get a win on a hugely significant card.

Even if she should have been in a stronger position to do something more meaningful.

Women's World Championship: Rhea Ripley vs. Iyo Sky

8 of 8
Monday Night RAW

Rhea Ripley has never defeated Iyo Sky and even dropped the Women's World Championship to The Genius of the Sky in the main event of Raw on the road to WrestleMania earlier this year.

Since then, they have competed against each other in a Match of the Year candidate at The Showcase of the Immortals and occasionally teased another championship showdown at some point.

That point should be Evolution, with Ripley finally achieving what she has struggled so long to do by defeating Sky and regaining a title that she lost far too quickly earlier in 2025.

A match with the potential to be the best on the card, it is a fitting main event featuring the biggest star on the women's roster in The Eradicator.
