
Nic Hague Reportedly Traded to Predators from Golden Knights, Signs New $22M Contract
Las Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Nic Hague is being traded to the Nashville Predators and will sign a four-year contract worth $5.5 million annually with his new team, per TSN's Darren Dreger.
In return, the Predators will send Jeremy Lauzon and Colton Sissons back to the Golden Knights.

The 26-year-old was set to become a restricted free agent on July 1.
Hague, now in his sixth NHL season, matched his career-best with five goals as a defenseman, adding seven assists for a total of 12 points on the year. The 6-foot-6 blueliner was part of the Golden Knights’ Stanley Cup-winning team in 2023.
Meanwhile, Sissons (center) and Lauzon (defenseman) are headed to Las Vegas from Nashville.
Sissons had been with the Predators since 2013, tallying 95 goals, 126 assists and 221 points across 690 games. Last season, he notched seven goals, 14 assists and 21 points over 72 appearances.
Lauzon, a Boston Bruin since 2015, spent three seasons with the team before being claimed by the Seattle Kraken in the 2021 expansion draft. He was later traded to Nashville in March 2022. He finished last season with one assist in 28 games.
