Caitlin Clark Gives Update on Groin Injury Rehab with Fever, 'I Feel Good'

Zach BacharJun 29, 2025

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark provided an update on her recovery from a groin injury that has caused her to miss the team's past two games.

"I mean, I feel good," Clark told reporters Sunday (1:45 mark). "I'm gonna be day-to-day from here on out. I'm doing everything I can to put myself in a position to play the next game, every single time. That's always my goal, is to be available for the next game and doing everything I can with the medical staff to be able to get my body right to be able to do that."

Clark underwent an MRI after telling the team's training staff that she was experiencing pain on Wednesday night.

The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year has been hampered by injuries throughout the start of her sophomore season, appearing in just nine of Indiana's first 16 contests in 2025.

Clark previously missed five games due to a quad issue.

She's averaged 18.2 points, 8.9 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game this season on 39.0/29.5/81.6 shooting splits.

The Fever have struggled to build upon a promising 2024 campaign with Clark in and out of the lineup, currently sitting at No. 7 in the WNBA standings with a record of 8-8.

Indiana will be hoping that the star guard can return soon, as the team is set to face off against the Minnesota Lynx in the Commissioner's Cup Championship on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET.
