
16-Year-Old Motocross Racer Aidan Zingg Dies After Mid-Race Crash
Motocross racer Aidan Zingg died after a crash at the Mammoth Motocross in Mammoth Lakes, California on Saturday, according to NBC Sports' Dan Beaver.
Zingg was 16 years old.
He crashed during the first moto as part of the 250 B class and was struck by multiple bikes, sustaining fatal injuries (via Beaver).

During the 2025 racing season, Zingg signed with Team Green Kawasaki and was making the move to the B classes and Schoolboy 2 class during the AMA Amateur Motocross National Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, per MX Sports.
Zingg competed at The Ranch in each year since his 2019 debut.
He finished No. 1 in the 2024 AMA Amateur National Championship as part of the Supermini 2 class and secured a runner-up finish in Supermini 1.
