NFL's Tyreek Hill Beats Noah Lyles' Brother Josephus in 100m Race on Video

Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill can at least beat one member of the Lyles family in a foot race.

At the ATX Sprint Classic in Austin, Texas, on Saturday, Hill finished ahead of Josephus Lyles in the 100-meter dash. Josephus is the younger brother of track star Noah Lyles:

Hill and Noah Lyles told People's Natasha Dye in February they had agreed to a head-to-head race after having exchanged trash talk on social media.

Although he's widely regarded as one of the NFL's fastest players and possesses experience in track and field, Hill would seemingly be at a distinct disadvantage. Lyles won a gold medal in the 100 meters at the 2024 Summer Olympics, a year after placing first in the race at the 2023 World Championships.

Unfortunately, fans may never see this come to fruition.

Lyles announced earlier this month the race is off. He told reporters that he and Hill "were very deep into creating the event." The Olympic star cited "personal reasons" for why things fell apart at the last minute.

Appearing on Johnny Manziel's Glory Daze podcast, the Dolphins wide receiver made it clear a competitive rivalry remains.

"I f--king hate Noah Lyles," he said. "This f--king dude bro, I got a ton of respect for Noah Lyles, ton of respect. But as far as like, me competing against him or whatever, I f--king hate the dude."

Hill added he remains hopeful they can get the wheels in motion for a race at the end of the NFL's offseason period.
