Sauce Gardner Talks Relationship with Ice Spice, Reveals They Met on LeBron's The Shop

New York Jets star cornerback Sauce Gardner recently revealed his relationship with rapper Ice Spice, and he said the two met through Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

Gardner told TMZ that he and Ice Spice met during filming for an episode of James' YouTube show, The Shop, in April 2024. That episode featured Gardner, Ice Spice, James, rapper Travis Hunter, former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson and Seattle Mariners center fielder Julio Rodríguez.

Gardner said that he and Ice Spice have a lot in common despite having two different careers.

"We just be having a good time," Gardner said. "Two young individuals, she's from New York, I play in New York. She's talented when it comes to what she does, same thing for me. Two people that get hated on that's really good at what we do. We got a lot in common."

Gardner, who is preparing for his fourth NFL campaign, is coming off a solid season in which he recorded 49 tackles, an interception and nine passes defended.
